▪ March Madness Mazu
"March Madness Mazu" is an important folk religious activity in Taiwan. Mazu is the most important spiritual support of Taiwanese people. Between the Lantern Festival and March 23 every year, Mazu pilgrimages in various places are even more important. The most important folk religious activities in Taiwan include the famous pilgrimages at Gongtian Temple in Baishatun and Zhenlan Temple in Dajia, which attract tens of thousands of people to participate enthusiastically. Hsinchu also has one pilgrimage annually. This year, Tianhou Temple will combine the pilgrimage with the local culture of Hsinchu.
